How To Create Your Funnel

Our Tried & Tested Blueprint

No matter what you’re selling, the structure and content of your funnel will stay more or less the same.

Ultimately, you’re taking your customers through a journey of Awareness, Interest, Consideration and finally Decision.

Here’s how you can create a funnel for literally any offer:

Awareness Stage

  • Objective: Raise awareness about a problem or desire.

  • What to Write: Content that highlights problems or dreams that the customer wants to solve without directly selling anything.

  • Example: Let’s say we’re selling a boat. Here, you’d create content like a blog post titled “The Ultimate Freedom: Exploring Life on the Water,” aimed at sparking interest in the boating lifestyle, showcasing the joy and freedom it brings, without pushing sales.

Interest Stage

  • Objective: Educate and engage the audience on possible solutions.

  • What to Write: Provide valuable information that helps the audience understand their options.

  • Example: In the case of selling a boat, you could produce an eBook or series of blog posts called “Choosing Your First Boat: What You Need to Know,” focusing on educating potential buyers about the types of boats, what suits different lifestyles, and how to start the buying process.

Consideration Stage

  • Objective: Deepen the audience’s understanding of your specific solution and its benefits.

  • What to Write: Content that showcases the unique value of your product, including comparisons, testimonials, and detailed explanations.

  • Example: Here, you might share detailed comparison guides between different boat models you offer, highlighting features, benefits, and suitability for various water-based activities, along with customer success stories.

Decision Stage

  • Objective: Drive the audience to make a purchase decision.

  • What to Write: Direct calls to action, special offers, and content that addresses last-minute hesitations.

  • Example: For boat sales, this could involve sending out an email campaign with a limited-time offer on select boat models, or an invitation for a personal test sailing experience, emphasizing the advantages of buying now.
